  2. The directory own/ contains a couple of programs I have compiled
  3. myself. Some of them replace binaries from the "original" root
  4. and usr filesystems, others are new stuff. 
  5.  
  6. All .tar.gz files are archived so that unpacking them from / should
  7. be everything you need to install these programs. Still, you might
  8. want to check first if you like the directory structure into which 
  9. they were packed.
